Ground Force Network Heralds Release of Major Motion Picture -- The Chronicles of Narnia
09/14/2005
(ContentDesk) September 14, 2005 -- The Ground Force Network, a viral marketing company for faith-based products, music releases, films and events, has just embarked on one of their largest projects to date. Motive Entertainment (www.moviemarketing.biz), the Los Angeles marketing company that was in charge of the marketing for Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ," has made Ground Force a part of the official marketing team to promote the December 9th nationwide film release adaptation of C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe." Ground Force will use their expertise in word-of-mouth marketing in the faith-based/family-friendly market to recruit, organize, and engage city leaders, street teams, and colleges and family ministries to promote the film on the ground level. To establish a credible two-tiered team of individuals in the top 50 markets of the film's release, Ground Force tapped into their established database of passionate representatives, or "field agents." After a careful interview process, Ground Force has selected city leaders ("Knights of Narnia") in the top 50 markets who will then activate other street team volunteers in their area called Ambassadors of Narnia. Under the direction of Ground Force, these city leaders and street members will work together to promote the film to the faith-based community, including churches, Christian schools, college campuses, and other faith-based organizations. In addition, Ground Force's volunteers are staffing the interactive Chronicles of Narnia booth at numerous Christian music festivals and promotional events this summer and fall, including Creation East and West, Cornerstone Festival, and Jeremy Camp's Restored Tour 2005. In addition to The Chronicles of Narnia project, Ground Force is currently managing street teams for other projects that benefit the faith-based community including the New York Times best-selling book, "The Maker's Diet" and Cloud Ten Pictures' third sequel to the Left Behind films starring Kirk Cameron, "Left Behind III: World At War," which releases in churches (instead of theaters) nationwide on October 21, 2005. Ground Force, a joint venture of The BuzzPlant http://www.buzzplant.com and Renegade Idea Group, has offices in Dallas, TX and Nashville, TN.
