Parasol Peccadillo Announces Bafta Push

(ContentDesk via ContentDesk Direct) September 20, 2005 -- Ismael Ferroukhi, director of Le Grand Voyage, will give a special introduction to an interfaith screening of his film at BAFTA, which is being co-hosted by The St. Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace and Parasol Peccadillo. To launch the film Parasol Peccadillo, a special interfaith screening will be held at BAFTA Princess Anne Theatre, 195 Piccadilly W1, on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 6:30 p.m.The film tells the story of a conservative Muslim father and his disobliging son who take a trip from France together, across Europe, on a pilgrimage to Mecca. The film, which has been internationally praised for its humanity and warmth, embraces the universal themes of generational and cultural difference, and features stunning footage of the pilgrimage at Mecca.
