A Movie made by a Harvard Researcher Won Top (Platinum) Remi Award in the 37th Houston International Film and Video Festival

(ContentDesk) May 4, 2004--The movie "Feuille" was selected to receive a top (platinum) Remi award in the 37th Worldfest-Houston International Film and Video Festival. This movie was directed by Dr. Youxin Yang who is also the screenwriter and played a leading role in the movie. This year's festival attracted more than 4,500 selected entries, from over 30 countries, to compete for platinum, gold, silver, or bronze Remi Awards. The Houston Worldfest is a prestigous international Festival, the third oldest in North America. This year's event also received special greetings from President George W. Bush and Texas Governor Rick Perry. Past Award winners in this festival included Stephen Spielberg, Ang Lee, George Lucas, David Lynch, Randall Kleiser, John Lee Hancock, The Coen Brothers, Robert Rodriguez, Ridley Scott, Steve Poster and many more. Feuille is the only Chinese Movie (with English subtitles)that won Platinum Remi Award this year. Dr. Youxin Yang is a cancer researcher in Harvard University, and lives in Boston, MA..
